Brand philosophy

Rebecca McGeoch launched Gasparre Cashmere in Sydney in 2010, with a simple desire to give cashmere relevance within an everyday wardrobe. Having recently relocated to Hong Kong, Rebecca McGeoch travels the globe extensively for inspiration and references different cultures widely; incorporating everything from food and wine to colour, art and architecture throughout each collection.

Uncompromised quality is the foundation of the Gasparre Cashmere label, which is why Rebecca McGeoch works with the purest white cashmere from the kel goat, only found in remote high altitude regions of Central Asia. As a rule, a higher altitude equates to a finer yarn, which gives the cashmere its feather-light softness.

Gasparre Cashmere is dedicated to researching and implementing new fibre blends and technologies including silks, organic soy, cotton and modal in a constant push for innovation. The move to Hong Kong has proved to be advantageous in this regard by granting access to a wealth of resources and materials, as well as endless amounts of style inspiration.

Gasparre Cashmere produces three colections per year: Autumn/Winter, Spring/Summer and Resort. The garments are mostly made in our Hong Kong or Chinese factories that are visited regularly by Rebecca, and a selection of our knitwear will be made in Italy.
